Biography

Noemi completed her first degree in Budapest, Hungary at the ELTE University, where she studied social policy and social work. She then moved to the Central European University (CEU), Budapest, where she gained an MA in Political Science, specialising in Central Eastern European transitions, before becoming a lecturer at the Institute for Social and European Studies (ISES) in Hungary. She has also worked for the Hungarian Ministry for Health and Social Affairs as an EU social policy advisor. In 2002 Noemi came to Bristol to study for her PhD in SPS, which she defended in 2006.
