Helen is working on Pure - the research information system that collates, organises and integrates information about the University's research.  Helen monitors the University's use of Pure, she analyses and implements new functionality as it becomes available, and she ensures that the University is getting the most from the system.

Helen has eight years of IT project experience at the University, in the areas of web, library repositories and service management systems. She has worked as a systems developer, technical coordinator and implementation officer. Helen has a good knowledge of the PRINCE2 project management framework and holds a PRINCE2 Foundation qualification.

Helen has experience of working on large-scale data and digitisation projects as part of her previous employment at The National Library of Wales. She is a zealous advocate of metadata standards.
