Research summary

My research, situated within the socio-legal paradigm and utilising an empirical methodology, investigates the role of public interest groups in litigating gene patent challenges in national courts. Via case studies and semi-structured interviews I explore the systemic and legal boundaries to public interest litigation & engagement with gene patents. 

I currently teach British Constitutional History on the International Foundation Programme, Law. 

I have an LLB (University of Kent, 2011) and an MSc with Distinction in Socio-Legal Studies (University of Bristol, 2015).
