Research summary

I am an epidemiologist with particular interests in infectious diseases, mathematical modelling and vaccines.  My research currently focuses on assessing the population impact of vaccination against meningococcal and pneumococcal disease.

I am a member of MenAfriCar (the African Meningococcal Carriage Consortium; www.menafricar.org), a global research effort to study how meningococcal meningitis is spread in Africa, and to document the impact of a new meningitis vaccine on reducing transmission. 

In January 2013, I moved to Cambridge University (www.vet.cam.ac.uk/directory/clt56@cam.ac.uk).
