Dr. Xenofon Vasilakos is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence for Digital Infrastructures at the Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Engineering, the University of Bristol, the U.K. His research is aligned with Bristol Digital Futures Institute (BDFI) and Smart Internet Laboratory (SIL). Currently, he is the lead researcher of the Zero Downtime Edge Application Mobility (ZeroDEAM) project funded by Samsung Electronics UK. His interests include 5G/B5G technologies with a focus on Multi-access Edge Computing based on cognition approaches inspired by machine learning models towards Zero-touch network & Service Management.
