Research summary

My areas of expertise include RF, analogue and digital (programmable) electronics. My particular forte is in making prototypes/hardware to demonstrate that techniques work in the real world as well as simulation.

I started my research career in the Centre for Communications Research, working on a wide range of projects mostly involving MIMO RF transceivers, but also on a 60 element RADAR array for detection of breast cancers.

Biography

Tony Horseman was awarded a PhD in 1999 for research into prototyping and performance of high data rate networks. Since then he has worked on Wi-Fi and MIMO extensions to WiFi, channel characterisation, Power Amplifier linearisation with high efficiency, and an advanced radar array for breast cancer detection.
