Biography

Marilyn Osborn is professor of education and currently directs the Hong Kong EdD programme.  She was director of research from 2002 until 2005 and previously director of the MPhil/PhD programme.  For several years she also co-directed the Centre for International and Comparative Studies in Education.

She has led a number of ESRC funded international collaborative research projects and has published extensively in the area of teachers’ work and professional identity, pupil perspectives on learning, adult learning, comparative research and qualitative research in education.  She has also researched the role of home/school links in the process ...
