Interests:
The palaeobiology and stratigraphy of the Jurassic to early Cretaceous. In particular, research is focused on biostratigraphy and palaeoenvironments, and attempting to constrain the position of the J-K boundary using multi-disciplinary methods: also on the stratigraphic puzzle of correlating marine and non-marine J-K strata. Palaeontological interests include Kimmeridgian to Valanginian ammonite faunas: boreal taxa in the UK and France, Greenland, Russia and Tethyan in Crimea, France and Kurdistan
I have always been involved in geoheritage and worked both at home and abroad on this topic.
