Research summary

My research investigates how breccias form in volcanic-magmatic systems. Breccias constitute important mineralised components of ore-systems and exhibit a range of compositional and textural features that reflect their complex multiphase petrogenesis. By identifying breccia forming processes and using proxies to understand how historic systems evolved, I aim to establish how breccias influence and control the generation of subvolcanic ore deposits. Simultaneously, I am seeking modern analogues for these breccia forming process observable in the rock record.
