Research summary

I am an experimental petrologist and isotope geochemist with a general interest in geological processes that take place below the crust. In recent years I have focussed on planetary differentiation into a metallic core and silicate mantle. I use both experimental petrology and isotope geochemistry to study how mass-dependent fractionation of isotopes (e.g. of Fe, Si, Mo) can be used to investigate the differentiation of planetary bodies such the Earth.
