Mr Nick Hayes

I studied at the University of Hull (2010-2014) where I completed my undergraduate masters in Physical Geography. For my dissertation, I examined the IRD and volcanic ash record of IODP core 580, and used these data to investigate ice/volcano interactions in late Pleistocene Kamchatka.

In September 2015, I started my PhD at the University of Bristol, investigating the impact of deep subsurface weathering on global climate. This project builds on research currently being undertaken by other postgraduates in the Earth Sciences department.
