Research summary

My research interests lie in exploring and improving the delivery of health and social care. This interest covers several areas including: dietary behaviour change; organisational change; and qualitative research methods. My work in these areas has previously included research on: designing and evaluating a theory based, targeted intervention to change fruit and vegetable intake; an evaluation of a network based approach to quality improvement: a clinical community; an exploration into the challenges and opportunities for quality improvement work in primary care; and the characterisation and identification of the strengths and weaknesses of contrasting approaches to patient involvement in quality improvement.
