I am researching the impact of glacier melting on water security in Central Asia, with a specific focus on the Syr Darya and Amu Darya transboundary rivers. The aim of the project is to make future river flow predictions using the DYNAMIC-TOPMODEL rainfall-runoff model and to test a range of adaption strategies to changing runoff, such as adopting efficient irrigation systems and changing crop patterns.
