Biography

Oliver obtained his BSc and PhD at the University of Bristol under the supervision of Paul Bates and Jeff Neal, before holding a postdoctoral research position in the Hydrology Group. He is now Chief Research Officer with flood risk firm Fathom and remains an Honorary Research Fellow with the University and its Cabot Institute.

Leading collaborations which include Google, The Nature Conservancy, US federal agencies, the Iowa Flood Center, and leading academic institutions, Ollie continues to publish original research in the field of flood risk modelling.
