I joined the School of Geographical Sciences in April 2020 as Lecturer. I was previously a lecturer in the History Department at the University of Manchester, and was the 2015-16 Eileen Power Economic History Society Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research and the University of Exeter. I completed my doctoral studies at the University of Warwick, under the supervision of Prof. Beat Kumin.
My research interests lie in environmental history and historical geography. I have a particular interest in the environmental history of early modern Britain (1500-1800), as well as in the histories of water and flooding ...
