I am a second-year PhD candidate in the School of Geographical Sciences, University of Bristol. I am researching the dynamics of planetary polar vortices - in particular using Martian reanalysis datasets to understand the annular shape of the northern hemisphere winter vortex. I also use a flexible GCM (Isca) to investigate the drivers of structure and variability in the polar vortices on Mars. My supervisory team is Dr Dann Mitchell (University of Bristol), Dr Will Seviour and Professor Geoff Vallis (University of Exeter). I am funded as part of the NERC GW4+ DTP (https://www.nercgw4plus.ac.uk/).
