As my webpages indicate, I'm passionate about music education for all, and about the significant role that the arts play in the lives of children and adults alike.
I have worked as a lecturer at the University of Bristol since 1999. Prior to this, I taught Music in Inner London schools and was Head of Expressive Arts in Clevedon School, North Somerset. During a sabbatical in 1993, I worked in the Janacek Academy for Music and Drama, Brno, Czech Republic and carried out work for the Royal National Theatre, London.
