Dr Charlotte Flothmann


Charlotte is a counselling psychologist who has worked in clinical and school settings to support children and young people experiencing mental health concerns. Before training as a psychologist she was a language teacher which led to a particular interest in the role of mental health in education.

Charlotte has collaborated with asylum seekers and refugees through participatory methods to research the psychological impact of seeking asylum in the UK. Other research interests include refugee wellbeing and resilience, culturally-responsive psychology in education and mental health and diversity.
